My bikes

In this trip I’m about to start my three partners (non human) will be my van and my two bikes. I’ll spend the most of my time with them, and with their help I’ll discover the nicest places on the Pyrenees. Today I introduce you my enduro and downhill bikes.

My enduro bike is a Mondraker Foxy R 2008. It might don’t be the very latest bike in the market, but I tell you, it rides sooooo well. She has a XTR/XT group, Formula Oro brakes, Fox Float 36 forks and Fox DHX Air 4.0. I'm just missing a telescopic seat tube. After some years a bit apart of mountain biking and more into motorbiking, I came across this beauty and couldn’t help but purchase it. Since them mtb became my first priority when it goes to sport and I have lived many good experiences along with her. Such a hard summer is she facing.

For downhill I’ll be riding a Mongoose Boot R. This bike is a loan, my friend Esteban bought it three years ago and unfortunately he is not able to use it as much as he would like. A downhill bike is not exactly a polivalent thing, you just can use it to go down. This bike is awesome, it looks very nice and features Rock Shox Boxxer Race forks, Elixir R brakes, Sram X9… Along with her I’ll be visiting least six bikeparks all over the Pyrenees and she will be the one who will take my virginity, downhilling-wise I mean. In addition, if she is one of Chirs Akrigg’s five bikes, she must be a good one.
